CageFightMMA Announces Light Heavyweight Title Qualifier
For Nov. 8th Show

(Hooksett, New Hampshire) – Black & Blue Entertainment, LLC Owner Roger Woo today announced the first title qualifier match in the short history of the CageFightMMA promotion!  The title will be in the Light Heavyweight Division (205lbs.) and the match will feature International Fight League (IFL) veteran Lamont “The Philly Badass” Lister (5-4) of Bombsquad and Cesar Barros (2-2) of American Top Team – Boston.

Lister was last scene fighting in Wilmington, Massachusetts for the World Championship Fighting promotion and defeating tough Sityodtong fighter Scott Rehm by decision on September 19th, 2008.  Barros on the other hand will be shaking off some cage rust as his last fight was a submission win over Ben Knight at Untamed 19 on September 28th, 2007.

“I chose these two warriors because they are two hard hitting 205’ers,” Woo explained in an email.

Lister versus Barros is sure to ignite fireworks inside the Wayfarer Convention Center in Bedford, New Hampshire and Woo is excited about the event being a mostly seated affair for the fans.

“New Hampshire MMA fans spoke out and CageFightMMA listened,” Woo continued, “Our first event featured great fight after great fight and we want all of our dedicated fans to enjoy the action from a comfortable seat where they can see every punch, kick, and submission attempt!”

Woo also announced five preliminary amateur fights, including New Hampshire’s second female mixed martial arts bout:

Sam Kesseli (Team K.I.) vs. John Santos (Team Fury) – 150lbs.
Tim Bagley (Mon Kai Karate) vs. Derek Sullivan (Premiere Martial Arts) – 160lbs.

And seven professional encounters:

Jeff Soucie, (2-0), (Team Fury) vs. Todd Solek, (2-4), (IMB-CT) – 170lbs.
Bobby Brown (0-1) (Team Fury vs. Brendan Hoxie (3-5) (Hoxie Bros.) – 170lbs.
Ken Avery (0-0) (Team Valor) vs. Arthur Mullen (1-3) (MMA of Southern ME) – 225+lbs.
James Soucie (0-1) (Team Fury) vs. Mike Tierney (0-5-2) (MMA of Southern ME) – 145lbs.
Dennis Olsen (3-2) (Triumph BJJ) vs. Eric Henry (7-4) (Bombsquad) – 170lbs.
