(Derry, New Hampshire) - With a thunderous clap the unthinkable happened. The sound resonated throughout the Aleppo Shriners Auditorium, fans in attendance were in awe, people at ringside were amazed, and the fighter on the receiving end of one of the most viciously thrown knees in New England Mixed Martial Arts history was aghast at the thought of some 0-3 fighter taking his fight.

(Plymouth, MA) - The JunglePlex in Plymouth,
Massachusetts was the setting for Frederic Belleton's foray
into the promotional side of mixed martial arts (MMA) last
Saturday night. The current EliteXC fighter spared no expense
on his fledgling promotion, No Boundary, with slick production
values, superstar MMA fighter appearances, and most importantly
many of the top local fighters. No Boundary dubbed the event "The
Awakening", which turned out to be a misnomer as the hundreds
of fans in attendance sadly "slept" through some
seriously strong performances. |

(Uncasville, CT) – So what happens when a dominating fighter
is suspended and cannot fight for almost a full year? He dominates
more! Looking more like a Kodiak Bear than a top-ranked local
heavyweight nightmare, Josh Diekmann disposed of Team Hoodlum’s David
Woodby in a mere 1:01 of the 1st Round at the fourth installment of the
United States Fight League's "War In The Woods" at the MGM Grand Theatre
at Foxwoods Resort & Casino.

The Crowne Plaza in Worcester, MA was the site
of International Combat Entertainment's "Doomsday" event
on June 13th, 2008 and some 400+ mixed martial arts (MMA) fans
witnessed a stern and focused Matt Lee earn a quick stoppage
over Eddie "The Tick" Felix, of Dragon Warrior. |

The Aleppo Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, Massachusetts was the site of the third installment of World Championship Fighting's foray into the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Fans were treated to a bizarre, yet highly entertaining night of MMA action featuring some of the best fighters in New England. Mike Campbell, of USMMA, punctuated the night with quite an exclamation point as he dismantled talented weestler Rich Moskowitz of Team Santos, a mere 1:25 into the 1st Round. |

(Manchester, NH) - New Hampshire is known as "The
Granite State" and CageFightMMA's "Blunt Force
Trauma" showcased a rock solid group of New England
Mixed Martial Artists and treated fans to one of the most
solidly entertaining night of fights in 2008. Ludlow, Massachusetts
based Team Link saw a rare occurrence, a loss which ended
their 56 match winning streak, but Link's Ricardo Funch
displayed the talents which many in New England consider
to be the cream of the crop at 170lbs. and earned his team
a bit of "redemption" in defeating "The
Pirate" Denis Grachev, thus resetting the "win-o-meter" back
to "1". Not to be out done Chris Correia, of
Team Kaze, delivered the "Submission-Of-The-Night" and
Dragon Warrior Josh Spearman excited fans with his performance
in the "Fight-Of-The-Night" with Ethan Kane,
of Team Ravenous.

MMA saw its return to the Granite State last Saturday night, May 17th, at the Quality Inn & Wayfarer Convention Center in Bedford, New Hampshire with the inaugural event for Black & Blue Entertainment's CageFightMMA: "The Beginning". "The Beginning" offered up eight professional MMA bouts highlighted by a Lightweight Main Event of Team Woo-MFS's Ben Manseau versus Dragon Warrior veteran Eddie "The Tick" Felix. It is not often that fight fans see a Main Event of Lightweight's and that wasn't the plan for CageFightMMA Owner and Matchmaker Roger Woo, who had to change his Main Event three times leading up to the show due to numerous injuries and fighter pull outs. |
